Operating since March 1992, on Queensland's Gold Coast, the Broadbeach Flatmate Centre is a successful information/link business, dealing in all things 'share accommodation'. Owned and operated by Craig Hallett, he warmly offers  advice and helps you to find a Room or a Flatmate anywhere on the Gold Coast. This is the 'the City of Beaches'.

A membership @ Broadbeach Flatmate Centre has been a rite of passage for thousands of people from all over the world, seeking to find a room on the Gold Coast. And for the many locals advertising rooms with Craig - to find the perfect flatmate. The quest > to settle & relax, seeking the right balance of work, study & play by the kilometres of never-ending, crystal beaches.  The Gold Coast is 'the City of Beaches'.

Craig, moved from Sydney in '88 after 12 years service in the Royal Australian Navy, and has possibly ventured into the ocean on less than 5 occasions and by now, Craig (one would hope), who lives and breathes the Gold Coast, has valuable local knowledge of this area. It could be said, he is far too approachable & equipped with unique intuitive skills, he has the ability to place you in an ideal sharing (or solo) situation fast. Devotees refer to him as the Flatmate Guru. Of course, he refutes this, saying

"I enjoy helping people by guiding them where to go...and they go there. It's like dating, all about attraction & you must like who you live with".

Craig overseees a database of a variety of room vacancy listings.  They are in share houses,  high rises, granny flats, studios, pet friendly places, and he even lists Short Term accom ... anywhere on the Gold Coast, from the verdant hinterland to the aqua beachfront.

International Students, new arrivals, and locals call daily seeking share accom or to list their rooms.  Broadbeach Flatmate Centre staff generally know the track record  / are aware of the 'resumes' or flatmate history of each house where people are placed... so placements are usually speedier, less intrusive & longer lasting > please go to Testimonial page. Looking for Accommodation - there is a once only $90 fee - with a 12 month membership - which covers you for an unlimited number of ROOM LISTINGS anytime in a 12 month period, in case you need to move again.

Listing your Room - there is a once only $49 fee per room - with a 12 month membership - so you can LIST YOUR ROOM, anytime in a 12 month period.  Yes again and again if u wish. In the event your flatmate wishes to leave, call, sms or email Craig for a replacement.

Listing a Granny Flat/ Studio / Bedsit - there is a once only $60 fee - with a 12 month membership - so you can list your studio or granny flat anytime with us in a 12 month period.
